A downtown classic…

This month, I had a great experience at a downtown classic, the Grand Trunk Pub. Located at 612 Woodward Avenue, between screenshot_10Campus Martius and Hart Plaza, they are housed in a really cool old building that once was the Grand Trunk Railroad ticket station over 100 years ago.

Because it was so nice out, I chose to sit outside this time. The service was really good. Sometimes when I sit outside, I get slow service, but not at the Grand Trunk Pub!

image_1For dinner I ordered the appetizer sampler platter. Yes, I ordered appetizers for dinner again (please don’t judge me). It came with chicken wings, onion rings, fried pickles, mozzarella sticks & pot stickers. It also came with 4 different dressings/dipping sauces. The sampler platter was extremely tasty & the dressings/dipping sauces really added to the flavor.

The Grand Trunk Pub also notes a full bar that includes many Michigan products. They also have multiple daily specials.

Remember to add the Grand Trunk Pub to your list of downtown options and you won’t be disappointed.
